A new event for 2025 which invites members to join a short cruise to a beach on the northern shore between the Orwell Bridge and Woolverstone (to be confirmed on the day depending on weather) to enjoy activities ashore. Members are welcome to take part in sailing dinghies, yachts, kayaks and invite their family and friends to join them onboard (buoyancy aids available to borrow (for free) from the club). Yachts will moor or anchor off the beach with smaller craft moored to them or drawn up on the beach (helms decide). Fun activities and games will be organised on the beach and in the water. The safety boat will provide safety cover but will not be able to carry passengers as it will be full of equipment for the activities. Please remember to bring your picnic!
