This coincided with the annual Pin Mill barge match so members were treated to the sight of these majestic craft gliding upriver under full sail before anchoring or mooring for the night. Soon after we landed the heavens opened however this only lasted for the first hour, after which the skies cleared and members enjoyed a more typical balmy summer’s evening. Top prize goes to the Banjos who cooked salmon and vegetable kebabs!
