With the tide out we made use of the length of the river rather than the width by taking a cruise downriver below the Orwell bridge. The lightweight Juniors had little trouble getting their Toppers moving in the light airs, it was great to see them putting their new-found skills to use and their confidence continues to grow as independent sailors.
